Mr. Barathy Ramiah’s visit to the University of Kelaniya
Mr. Barathy Ramiah was invited as a guest lecturer to the University of Kelaniya, where he addressed the crowd on "Public Speaking" - an essential skill to master to win in this competitive world. Mr. Ramiah, who is currently the project manager of Implementation, is one of the biggest assets we have in terms of leading and communications.
Coming from a background with international exposure, both education and career wise, he holds his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Madras and gained two masters qualifications; a Master of Science in Management and Information Technology from the University of Kelaniya and a Master of Business Administration specialising in Project Management from the University of Moratuwa. Additional to his excellent academics, Mr. Ramiah is also well known for being an active member of the HOPE Worldwide during his volunteer conduct when setting up a computer center at a prison in Trichy.
During his assembly at the University of Kelaniya, he shared some of his knowledge and experience that he gained over the years as a Toastmaster. Stances, pitches, and how to overcome nervousness were just some main points he advised on. It was a remarkable event for us and we were thrilled to see the excited faces of the 200 students who were there listening keenly to every word Mr. Ramiah said.
